The Rules and Guides referred to below have now all been updated. Please make sure those documents are read.

Participating clubs may enter runners prior to the season and in accordance with the updated Rules on the website also included in the Team Managers’ Guide, and will issue a number to their runners.
Runners may not enter as individuals.
Guest runners may be permitted, but owing to the fee structure of the new venue Guests will be required to pay a fee to run.

Attention All Athletes: As per the League Rules (see Rule 31): Any runners wearing headphones will be disqualified.
NO SPIKES OR MUDDY FOOTWEAR TO BE WORN IN THE CAFÉ.
NO SPITTING – Please refer to the OXL – Spitting Notice.
PLEASE USE THE TOILET FACILITIES PROVIDED – Anyone identified defecating or urinating in public at any OXL venue will receive an outright 12–month ban from the League with immediate effect.

Attention All Officials, Team Managers, Marshals & Volunteers: In the light of current COVID infection rates all officials, team managers, marshals and volunteers are advised to wear facemasks.

Important Venue Notes:
The races are being held on private land with the kind permission of the owner. Please treat all areas as well as staff with the utmost respect as we would like to be invited back in future years. Please also note that the Cotswold Farm Park attraction itself is closed to the general public and people must stay within the areas designated for the use of the cross country fixture.
Catering will be provided by the venue in the café. We would grateful if you could please support this. Please note that the café is currently only accepting card payments.
Dogs are permitted on site. However, owners must keep them on the lead at all times and clean up after them.

Please Note: Round 4 of the Oxfordshire XC League will be run in conjunction with the 2022 Oxfordshire County XC Championships as announced on the Oxon AA website. All runners who have entered the 2022 Oxfordshire County XC Championships will need to wear their distinguishing race number that is to be collected on the day of the Championships as directed according to the instructions published on the Oxon AA website in advance. Any Championship entrant not wearing the correct County XC Championships race number will be disqualified. OXL runners who have NOT been entered for the County Championships should wear their usual OXL number.

Directions
Please Note: There are currently roadworks on the A429 between the small roundabouts at the A419/A417 exit and the set of traffic lights for the left turn towards Northleach, Bourton–on–the–Water and Stow–on–the–Wold. The roadworks are currently scheduled to be completed by 4:00pm on Monday, 31st January. An alternative northbound route has therefore been provided in the event the roadworks are not completed on schedule.
Northbound (A419) traffic: Join the A419 at Swindon and follow the dual carrigeway northbound to the second junction with the A429 at Cirencester. Exit the dual carriageway and turn right at the first roundabout onto the A429 over the A419 and continue straight across the next roundabout. At the traffic lights turn left to continue northwards on the A429 towards Northleach, Bourton–on–the–Water and Stow–on–the–Wold. At the roundabout junction with the A40 near Northleach continue straight across on the A429 towards Bourton–on–the–Water. After the junction on the left with the A436 and crossing the River Windrush shortly before Bourton–on–the–Water turn left onto the lane towards Huntsman’s Quarry. Follow the lane straight on past Slaughter Farm, the disused quarries, Manor Farm, Brockhill Farm and Huntsman’s Quarry until the entrance to Cotswold Farm Park is reached on the left after approximately 4km.
Alternative Route Northbound (A419) traffic: Join the A419 at Swindon and follow the dual carrigeway northbound to the second junction for Perrott’s Brook after Cirencester when the dual carriageway becomes the A417. Exit the dual carriageway and turn right at the first roundabout. Continue over the A417 and continue straight on at the next roundabout towards Perrott’s Brook. Continue straight on to Welsh Way and then on across the junction with Curtain Lane and over the A435, across the junction with White Way to the junction with the A429. At the junction turn left towards Northleach, Bourton–on–the–Water and Stow–on–the–Wold. At the roundabout junction with the A40 near Northleach continue straight across on the A429 towards Bourton–on–the–Water. After the junction on the left with the A436 and crossing the River Windrush shortly before Bourton–on–the–Water turn left onto the lane towards Huntsman’s Quarry. Follow the lane straight on past Slaughter Farm, the disused quarries, Manor Farm, Brockhill Farm and Huntsman’s Quarry until the entrance to Cotswold Farm Park is reached on the left after approximately 4km.
Southbound (A429) traffic: Join the A429 at Stow–on–the–Wold and follow the road southbound. After approximately 6km a turn on the right to Lower Slaughter will be passed. After approximately another 1.5km turn right, shortly before crossing the River Windrush and the junction with the A436, onto the lane towards Huntsman’s Quarry. Follow the lane straight on past Slaughter Farm, the disused quarries, Manor Farm, Brockhill Farm and Huntsman’s Quarry until the entrance to Cotswold Farm Park is reached on the left after approximately 4km.
Westbound (A40) traffic: Join the A40 and follow the road westbound. Continue straight on at the roundabout junction with the A361 atr Burford for approximately 15km. At the roundabout after the signs for Northleach turn right onto the A429 towards Bourton–on–the–Water. After the junction on the left with the A436 and crossing the River Windrush shortly before Bourton–on–the–Water turn left onto the lane towards Huntsman’s Quarry. Follow the lane straight on past Slaughter Farm, the disused quarries, Manor Farm, Brockhill Farm and Huntsman’s Quarry until the entrance to Cotswold Farm Park is reached on the left after approximately 4km.

Oxfordshire Cross Country Championships Presentations
No presentations will be made on the day of the Championships. Arrangements will be made for the collection of trophies and medals following the completion of the Championships.

Age Groups for 2021–22 OXL Season
These are all according to age at midnight on the age date (31 August 2021), except for U9s – see below.
U9 are age 8 on the day of the event;
U11 are age 9 or 10 on the age date;
U13 are age 11 or 12 on the age date;
U15 are age 13 or 14 on the age date;
U17 are age 15 or 16 on the age date;
U20 are age 17, 18 or 19 on the age date;
Senior Women are age 20 to 34 on the age date;
Vet Women V1 are age 35 to 44; V2 are age 45 to 54; V3 are 55 or over on the age date;
Senior Men are age 20 to 39 on the age date;
Vet Men V1 are age 40 to 49; V2 are age 50 to 59; V3 are age 60 or over on the age date.
