Details:It has been drawn to the League’s attention that a male athlete turned and spat (whether intentionally or not) in the face of a female athlete just before the start of one of the combined boys and girls age group races. This demonstrates a complete disregard for other people’s personal safety particularly in the light of the current pandemic.

Spitting will not be tolerated and anyone seen doing so will receive a warning in the first instance. In the event of a second occurrence the person will receive a 12–month ban from the League with immediate effect.
