As confirmed in the 2021 Draft AGM Minutes, Proposal B under the Voting Proposals section (page 11), a trial mixed cross country relay has been scheduled to take place after the last finisher in the final OXL Round 5 race has crossed the finish line.
The details for this trial season–end event are as follows:
• Approximate Start Time: 1:20pm.
• Race Distance: 4 x (approx.) 1,600m.
• Team: 4 athletes (comprising 2 men and 2 women, plus 2 reserves).
• Team Order: Athetes may run in any order.
• Team Entry: Teams to be entered by the Round 5 entry deadline (midnight, Sunday, 27th February) by the club OXL Team Manager.
• Final Team Submission: Final team to be submitted 30 minutes before start.
A separate course map will be posted on the fixture page for this trial event by the end of the day on the Tuesday before the Round 5 fixture along with an updated venue and courses map for the Round 5 League races.
A copy of this notice has been emailed to all club Team Managers.
