The Rules and Guides referred to below are have now all been updated. Please make sure those documents are read. In addition, please also note the new directions provided owing the A4421 road closure and make sure everyone keeps out of the taped–off Out of Bounds areas marked on the course map. In order to ensure safe race starts all athletes should congregate at the start line in club bubbles allowing 2 metres of distance between each club bubble.

Participating clubs may enter runners prior to the season and in accordance with the updated Rules on the website also included in the Team Managers’ Guide, and will issue a number to their runners.
Runners may not enter as individuals.
Guest runners may be permitted, but again only in accordance with the updated Rules as well as included in the Team Managers’ Guide.

Important Notes:
The races are being held on private land with the kind permission of the owner. Please treat all areas with the utmost respect as we would like to be invited back in future years.
NO DOGS – No dogs are permitted at this venue.
NO ACCESS is permitted within any Out Of Bounds Zones.

Attention All Athletes: As per the League Rules:
(See Rule 31): Any runners wearing headphones will be disqualified from the race.
(See Rule 4 (Race Numbers)): Any runner seen wearing a race number for another event in an OXL race will automatically be disqualified from the race.

New Directions for Bicester Heritage 2021 (due to closure of Charbridge Lane A4421)
Northbound (A34) traffic: Follow the A34 northbound to junction 9 of the M40; at the junction roundabout take the second exit (straight on) and follow the A41 towards Bicester; at the second roundabout keep left take second exit onto Vendee Drive, at next roundabout take second exit (straight on) onto Howes Lane A4095, continue straight at the traffic lights, at the junction turn left then at the roundabout take second exit (right) towards Buckingham A4421, at the next roundabout take second exit (straight oni>), at the next roundabout take First exit A4421 Buckingham, travel on the A4421 for approximately 500m past the main entrance; the entrance to venue is on the right.
Northbound (M40) traffic: Exit the motorway at Junction 9 and follow the A41 towards Bicester; at the roundabout keep left take second exit onto Vendee Drive, at next roundabout take second exit (straight on) onto Howes Lane A4095, continue straight at the traffic lights, at the junction turn left then at the roundabout take second exit (right) towards Buckingham A4421, at the next roundabout take second exit (straight on), at the next roundabout take First exit A4421 Buckingham, travel on the A4421 for approximately 500m past the main entrance; the entrance to venue is on the right.
Southbound (M40) traffic: Exit the motorway at Junction 10 and take the first exit at the roundabout towards Baynards Green (A43); follow the A43 to the next roundabout and take the third exit towards Bicester (B4100); then follow the B4100 (southeastwards) for approximately 6km until reaching the roundabout junction on the outskirts of Bicester with the A4095; at that roundabout take the first exit onto the A4095 eastwards and continue to the next roundabout; at that roundabout take the first exit onto the A4421 Buckingham; continue on the A4421 for approximately 500m past the main entrance; the entrance to venue is on the right.
From that point onwards follow the signs and marshal directions to the parking facility at the venue.

Please Note: The car parking will be arranged by the hosts. There is ample parking at the venue but entry/exit is via a single narrow road with limited passing points. We therefore encourage you to car–share wherever possible to avoid congestion, and please be patient if there are any delays.

Parking Fees
The standard car parking fee for this 2021–22 OXL fixture is £4.00 per vehicle to cover the costs of running the fixture, as agreed at the 2017 OXL AGM.
